Joshua and his buddies, W and D, posing for picture after a walk to the park. We then invited them over for dinner, and all of them had so much fun playing beforehand, and Joshua thought it was SO cool for his friends to eat at our table with him. He was very excited! Food always tastes better when shared with friends!
Love your babies with everything you have!
Watch for Joshua in it!
Great video about our friend Emma and her t-ball team! Inclusion at it’s best!
We are forever trying to find motorcycles when we are out driving around. We actually go for drives on the weekends, just to find them. This one kept us truly amused on our trip home from Galveston yesterday! It passed us once and Joshua squealed with delight. Well, we’ve always wanted to get his reponse on video, so…Hubby takes off weaving through traffic after this motorcycle, with Caylee and I cheering him on. It was quite the chase! We finally got past him, so that he could again pass us, and we could roll Joshua’s window down and wait for the response! 🙂 It was GREAT, and so much fun. Some days when it’s nice out there are so many out for drives, and he is such an ecstatic little boy! Of course, we enjoy his response just as much as he enjoys the motorcycles!!
It’s the little things in life, ya know?
Love one another!~Yvonne
The first time out in public in the Kidwalk. Josh saw every square foot of Old Navy, a couple of times over! LOL! He LOVED it and was the most motivated he’s been in it yet!!! Definitely loved having the FREEDOM to go and see whatever HE wanted to see! Way to go Pooh Bear, mama is so PROUD of you!!!!
This is Joshua’s first time in his new gait trainer, yesterday at PT. It’s called a Kidwalk and made by Prime Engineering, if you want to google them.
I’ll take more video of his first real outing soon!
These FABULOUS brochures were created for us by Darren Humphries, a fellow Angelman parent. Contact him at Christosconcepts@xtra.co.nz if you are interested in having a brochure made for you child. As you can see he does a fantastic job, and he’s is so easy to work with. He will send the finished brochure to you in a pdf format (a color and black and white version) and you just print it out, and as the years go by he will update for you also! Feel free to contact Darren if you have more questions for him! He has a huge heart for this work, and for helping our kids to have a voice!
I cannot wait to hand these out to people. I will be giving one to each child at church, I know they will love having these to see pictures of Joshua and to hear about the kinds of things that he enjoys doing, just like them.
